Freshers Fairs
There are two Freshers Fairs during Freshers Fortnight; one at Avery Hill on Tuesday 20th September, and one at Greenwich on Thursday 22nd September. Freshers Fair are a wealth of information. Not only are all the sports teams and other societies lobbying you to join them, there are freebies available and advice on matters such as money and finance.
If you are looking for employment, then this is a perfect opportunity to find out about local jobs and even employment within the University. There are also companies offering vouchers and information, student deals and discounts.
This year, our Freshers Fairs will be split into four zones:
Give It A Go is where you can meet all of our sports clubs and societies. You can also try a new activity or pick up a new hobby for the coming year;
Advice & Welfare will be the place to meet people and organisations that can get you off on the right foot for the academic year;
Student Life is all about having a good time both on and off campus;
and Get Involved is about the student voice, democracy, representation, employment, volunteering and more.
